Meet The Team
Meet our experienced team at Samantha Jones Hair Co.
Jonathan – General Manager / Chief Cocktail Maker
A former professional photographer who moved on to managing nightclubs and restaurants, Jonathan has always loved fashion, food, and music, and this love of creative work combined with his extensive hospitality background is reflected in the care and attention that he brings into the Salon every day. Jonathan has owned SjHCo since January 2018 and has fallen in love with the industry.
He is inspired by seeing the results that the team can achieve when they transform a guest’s hair, and by helping people to achieve their goals both personally and professionally.
Any spare time is spent with family, and Jonathan loves nothing more than the simple pleasures – blue jeans and boots, good food and wine, and time outdoors.
Abby – Senior Stylist
I’m sure many of you have seen Abby’s smiley face around the Salon now, she has been a part of the SjHCo team since November 2017. Abby is one of our Senior Stylists and has been in the industry since 2103. Hairdressing has always been one of Abby’s biggest passions, and she especially enjoys foiling, cutting, blow waves and balayage.
Abby’s favourite colour is light blue and in her spare time she enjoys camping, going to cute cafes, and catching up with her siblings.
Laura – Senior Stylist
Laura has dreamt of being a hairdresser since she was 4 years old. With her heart set on this career, Laura completed high school and began her apprenticeship in 2008.
Relocating from NSW in 2017, Laura joined the team at SjHCo in August 2019 and is fast becoming a favourite with her guests!
Styling is what Laura loves most, whether that’s for a wedding, a birthday, a girl’s night out, or just for that special date night.
Kirra – Emerging Stylist
Kirra first entered the hairdressing industry in 2008 as a school-based apprentice, eventually leaving to start a family before returning to her chosen career. Kirra has been a part of the team at SjHCo since October 2018.
With a passion for hairdressing and personal development, Kirra loves all aspects of hairdressing, especially colour work – drawing inspiration both from her mentors and Toni & Guy.
Kirra is constantly amazed by how much better people feel with a beautiful fresh cut or colour, and how it instantly makes them happy.
Kirra enjoys creating that feeling for our guests in the salon. When not at SjHCo, Kirra works in hair retail and enjoys taking time out with family as well as making memories with her daughter.
