Meet The Team
Meet our experienced team at Samantha Jones Hair Co.
Jonathan – General Manager / Chief Cocktail Maker
A former professional photographer who moved on to managing nightclubs and restaurants, Jonathan has always loved fashion, food, and music, and this love of creative work combined with his extensive hospitality background is reflected in the care and attention that he brings into the Salon every day. Jonathan has owned SjHCo since January 2018 and has fallen in love with the industry.
He is inspired by seeing the results that the team can achieve when they transform a guest’s hair, and by helping people to achieve their goals both personally and professionally.
Any spare time is spent with family, and Jonathan loves nothing more than the simple pleasures – blue jeans and boots, good food and wine, and time outdoors.
Kristy – Salon Manager
Kristy completed her apprenticeship in Victoria, and shortly after qualifying became a Salon Manager for a well-recognised Industry leader! Relocating to Queensland in 2019, Kristy joined our team in March 2020.
Kat – Senior Stylist
Kat left school and started her apprenticeship at 14 years of age. She knew then what she wanted – to make people look and feel beautiful. Specialising in blondes and balayage, Kat loves to connect with her guests and give them an enjoyable experience at SjHCo.
When she is not in the Salon, you’ll find Kat outdoors at Southbank or one of our beautiful South-East Qld beaches.
Kat is an animal lover and keen traveller who plans on seeing more of the world and meeting amazing people.
Shannon – Emerging Stylist
Shannon started hairdressing in 2012, after discovering her love for the industry and for helping people to make the change they have been looking for.
With an eye for styling, Shannon enjoys meeting new people and making an impact on how they look and feel about themselves. Her goal is to become a renowned and recognised events and wedding Stylist.
Another outdoors lover, if you want to start a conversation with Shannon, just ask about her dog!
